Empowering Pacific communities through protection, advocacy, education, and opportunity.

Pacific Assist Samoa Trust (PAST) is a community-led charitable organisation dedicated to protecting and empowering vulnerable children, women, persons with disabilities, youth, families, and communities throughout Samoa and the Pacific. Through advocacy, shelter and protection services, education pathways, counselling support, human rights promotion, community development, and climate resilience initiatives, PAST works to create safer communities and brighter futures.

WORD FROM FOUNDER

"Every child deserves to grow up safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential."
Pacific Assist Samoa Trust was founded from a deeply personal commitment to protect children and women who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect, poverty, and hardship. As a mother and grandmother, I have witnessed the devastating impact that violence and vulnerability can have on families and communities. Too often, survivors are left without the long-term support, education opportunities, and pathways needed to rebuild their lives. PAST was established to break these cycles. Our vision is to create a Samoa where vulnerable individuals are protected, where opportunities are accessible, and where every person can live with dignity, safety, and hope. We believe that healing begins with protection, that empowerment begins with education, and that lasting change begins when communities work together. Thank you for visiting our website and for joining us in creating safer and stronger communities throughout Samoa and the Pacific.
